IKEA has just launched the reinterpretation of the Meatball.
The plant-based bun is proof that a future with less meat can be just as delicious, whether you love meat or not. The bun is made with pea protein, potatoes, onions, oatmeal and apples, and it has the same taste and juicy structure as the meatball – just without the meat. We have achieved the delicious taste of meat with umami in the form of e.g. mushrooms, tomatoes and fried vegetables.
